Tunnel inspection robot: Its advantages include a compact body suitable for confined spaces. It has a tracked structure and a flip arm to adapt to a range of terrain. It carries a night-vision pan-tilt unit, gas sensors for oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide and combustible gases, a temperature and humidity sensor, a smoke alarm and other equipment. With a handheld terminal, it displays video images and data in real time. It is lightweight, with approximate dimensions of 500 × 360 × 300 mm in length, width and height, and can be carried by one person. Application fields include border defense, prisons, the military, stations, airports and industrial parks. It has been applied by public security bureaus in various cities, State Grid and army units.
