Shanghai Master Craftsman Lu Qiuhong was appointed as an inaugural distinguished instructor at Xuhui AI Craftsman Academy, bringing practical experience from the R&D and industrial application of special-purpose robots.
On August 28, 2026, Xuhui AI Craftsman Academy held its inaugural faculty appointment and course-release event, together with the Shanghai Model Worker and Craftsman “AI Empowering Industry” Pioneer Lecture. Lu Qiuhong, a Shanghai Master Craftsman and Chairperson and General Manager of Shanghai HRSTEK Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., was appointed as an inaugural distinguished instructor.
A new academy and a new appointment
Built jointly by the Xuhui District Federation of Trade Unions and the Donghao Lansheng Group Trade Union, the academy focuses on integrating artificial intelligence with industrial applications and developing high-skilled talent for “AI plus industry applications.” Lu Qiuhong was among the inaugural instructors appointed from artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and digital application fields.
From industrial practice to the classroom
Lu Qiuhong has long worked in the field of special-purpose robots. She will bring hands-on experience from robot R&D and industrial application into the academy, helping students understand how AI can work with mechanics, control, perception, and real-world tasks in verifiable engineering practice.
Building cross-disciplinary skills through practice
Taking this appointment as a new starting point, HRSTEK will participate in course collaboration, practical teaching, talent development, and industry-academia-research collaboration, translating engineering experience from real workplaces into teaching topics for cross-disciplinary skilled talent.
